Thank you, ACM, for your concern for others. I look forward to discussions with you on topics which we know already we have mutual interest! As for my exit, which others have asked, a fork in the road simply appeared where I was no longer matched for a developmental direction he wanted to take the site; something with more grit, whereas my instincts are to neutralize the grit downward. I owe a great deal to that experience and to Dennis; he taught me so much and included me in areas I had no qualifications technically especially. It simply reached the end of its lifespan, and it all happened in 10days. As to the way it played out, bobby and I separately had disappointment of a similar expectation, and both exited on our own. He'll have to speak for himself, and yes, he's still over on NV.

What you've described is about being hot and angry. Don't be confused -- I'm neither angry nor worn out tired nor resentful. It was a very good year and a half. In life, I like people who are different from me, and that means when we come to forks in the road, we see and act with very different framework. And often it just means that a time-out (which works when you're angry) doesn't match the situation, that to continue is only to build fuel to a fire. I hope I always do all I can to prevent that. I'm looking forward to activity here that I've not had time or opportunity to do lately, such as the writing group, and picking up my unfinished book and screenplays. And discussions with you, of course!

Thanks everyone for providing great debate and discussions. There is a lot of good articles on here and debates going on. I wish I was able to read more articles and comment. I am juggling three sites though here, Newsvine, and Free Bloggers Alliance so it is more difficult. Besides after the most recent article I wrote and other articles and videos I published I am a bit worn out. I have not been feeling well recently so it does not take much to tire me out Tongue.gif .

Okay, let's take the MIddle East group for example. You open the group and scroll down to the heading "Discussion Forum". Scroll down to the bottom of the "Discussion Forum" and on the left side you will see the link to click called "Add a Discussion". That will open two windows; the small one on top, called "Discussion Title" is obviously where you type the title of your article, and the big one below, called "Post" is of course where you put the body of your contributed article. You will notice on top of the big window a number of icons which enable you to post images, videos, adjust font and font size, bold, italics, etc.similar to MS Word. You can post images wherever you place your cursor, which is a lot easier than NV. Once you have completed your article, a smaller window under it enables you to insert tags. Finally, at the bottom on the left, there are icons to click giving you the choice to "Preview" or to "Add Discussion". To amend what you have done, go back up to where you first saw the words "Add a Discussion" in light blue on the main indigo background, and on the right just to the left of where your name appears you will see a small box, which if you click, will open a few things that you can click, like "edit discussion", "edit tags" etc. If you click "edit discussion" you will re-open your article and you can make whatever amendments you wish. Then go back down to the bottom of what you have done and you will see the word "save" which you click and then your amended discussion is published. After you have finally published, there is then a window below it which enables you to make a comment, same as any other person can do.

Hope this has been clear. I look forward to your contributions. I created two groups (neither of which you joined, I believe) "Classic Cinema" and "Canada - The True North Strong and Free".

Hi Alan , glad to see you decided to check out NewsTalkers. I hope you plan to bring your Free Syria group Nationhere. I had to leave that grou nation gro .... collection of members, because of the 15 gr nation restriction over there.

Fada is here, but I haven't seen Summers anywhere. Actually, Summers hasn't even been active on the Vine since last fall. (I hope everything is ok with her)
