I don't drown my sorrows..........but I will take them for an occasional swim.
Hi Chuck, I just noticed your friend request, and I am very happy to be your friend. : )
LOL!!! i can always use a ride as long as it isn't PINK or ROSE or BLUSH or SHRIMP or FUCHSIA or...or...CORAL!!!

Didn't you know that the mosquito is our state bird?
That sounds like a great story Chuck. It's those kind of stories that are making our group really good....See if you can put it together and post an article on it.
Thanks for the FR and for joining the tribe.
No, if you have cats, I wouldn't recommend getting rodents. We've often considered having ferrets, but for the same reason you don't have rodents... ferrets and rodents are sworn enemies. We love our hammies... and that's good enough for us.
Hamsters can be very responsive to humans, but no two are alike, and one has to respect their strict observance of nocturnalism. From my experience, if you want a rodent that behaves more like a dog, then get a pet rat (get two... they don't do well alone because they are very gregarious). Once a rat bonds with its human, that bond cannot be broken. They are truly amazing creatures! But, hammies are cute and a bit less time-consuming in the maintenance dept. And some hammies are very rat-like in their attachment to humans.
Oops... I think you were talking about the three pics I posted... my avatar is Cocoa Bean; the others are Skosh, Bonnie, and the late, great Dr. Herbivorous. At any given time, we have upwards of a dozen hamsters. At the moment, we have 15. I really need to get busy and post pics of all of them!
The hamster's name is Cocoa Bean. I really should post an article about the Beans and how they got here!
Oops, I forgot it is easy here! Just click on Add a Friend!
Great to see you Chuck!!! Welcome aboard! I'll send a friend request, if I have any luck...
Really happy to see you here, Chuck! Explore and maybe post to some discussions... lots of friendly folks here.
Welcome Chuck! Look around and tell us a bit about yourself.
