A new exhibition in Beijing showcases picturesque natural scenery, cultural diversity and poverty alleviation efforts in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
Titled Singing in Tianshan Mountain - Life of People in Xinjiang , the exhibit features more than 100 photographs taken by around 20 photographers from across China in September 2020.

The images map an overall picture of Xinjiang via aspects of natural scenery (as well as ecological protection work for better environment over the years), lives of different ethnic groups in the region and their cultural diversities, as well as poverty alleviation efforts that have increased income of impoverished people.
The event underway at the exhibition hall of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in the capital runs through March 31. It's supported by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Photographers Association and organized by the federation's Photography Art Center.

I have seen other photos of the Xinjiang region, and it is quite beautiful.
Beautiful ensemble of pictures Brother, Beauty transcends all hate...
A stunning example of the diversity of China.
It's after 10 p.m. here and I'm awfully tired, so since I won't be around to moderate I'm locking this now, but will unlock in in the (my) morning about 9 hours from now.
Now unlocked for civil discourse.
Since I'm being attacked elsewhere I expect the same here, so since it's now time to sleep again this is now locked for the night.
Up early and unlocked for civil comments, although I'm sure there are quite a few who won't believe what they see here. LOL
Locked while I sleep and eat breakfast - wil unlock it after that
LOL. Really was tired last night. Posted that I locked it then forgot to lock it. Never mind - unlocked all the time.
Locked permanently - no purpose in keeping it unlocked.
