Located in Tianfu New District, the "underwater bookstore" has a glass curtain wall that extends into the water on one side of the bookstore, allowing readers to see water plants and fish in the lake.

I wonder if they have a copy of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, or anything by Jacques Cousteau.

We lived in Chengdu for a year before moving to Chongqing, my wife's home town, where we intend to remain.   Athough while there we got to see a lot of ancient villages, climbed the sacred Buddhist Mount Emai, saw the Giant Buddha of Leshan, a achool in the mountains that had suffered greatly from the 2008 earthquake, a Taoist Temple compound and many other sites all of which I posted photo-essays on NT, I never got to see that bookstore.
