This is an absolutely beautiful "must watch" video, displaying the fantastic lanterns. Since today is February 5th, today we celebrate Lantern Festival. As the video will say, it is a day to eat tangyuan (glutinous rice balls stuffed with sweet black sesame or other sweet fillings). I ate mine for breakfast this morning, it is one of my most favourite things to eat here in China.
Evening..the food always looks so spectacular and yet simple to do..
I'm double lucky with that. Not only is my wife a great cook, she grows the vegetables on a plot of land staked out near the nearby mountains. She grew up on a farm.
