Photo exhibition brings 'Beautiful China' to world

A new photo exhibition will showcase the beauty of China in 34 overseas Chinese culture centers and 19 tourism offices in over 40 countries around the world.

Titled  Beautiful China: Man, Nature and Harmony , the exhibition has selected photographs portraying the natural and architectural landscapes of China, as well as modern people's lives.

It's part of the cultural series under the project China Tourism and Culture Week, which is sponsored by the Chinese Culture and Tourism Ministry's international exchanges and cooperation bureau, and organized by the Network of International Culturalink Entities (NICE), China cultural centers and tourism offices overseas.

I have been to some of those places myself such as the Li River, the Temple of Heaven, The Palace Museum a/k/a The Forbidden City, The Great Wall, the Chengdu Panda Research and Breeding Center, Shanghai, and the Longmen Grottoes at Luoyang (and, of course, an awful lot of other great places in China).

What I'd like to see are photos that the members here have of beautiful places in the USA.

Well, I guess the words "Beautiful China" are a turnoff to Americans.  In my first comment I asked everyone to post beautiful photos of America, but nobody did for a couple of days, so I guess what Americans would prefer to see are photos of destruction and ugliness, like these, all of which are American...

Never mind, the picture opened for me early this morning.  Internet congestion must have been the problem.  Those flowers are beautiful.
