Baby panda Mang Cancan became the Chongqing Traffic Safety Promotion Ambassador on Sunday, coinciding with China's designation of Dec 2 as the annual National Traffic Safety Day.
Mang Cancan, which means beautiful and bright in Chinese, was born at Chongqing Zoo in July 2023, marking Mang Zai's fifth offspring. Rapidly captivating visitors with his endearing appearance and playful clumsiness, Mang Cancan swiftly rose to stardom at Chongqing Zoo.
Now, he is the honorary traffic police officer No 010122. Chongqing Zoo, Chongqing Traffic Patrol Police, and Chang'an Auto, which adopted him for life, held a special ceremony for Mang Cancan and launched his Panda Police Officer Plush Toy.
This activity aims to use Mang Cancan's popularity to raise public awareness about traffic safety, according to Chongqing Traffic Patrol Police.

I have never driven in China, and there is no way that I will. Can you blame me? Can you imagine this? It's REAL, not fake.
