A team comprising journalists, aerial photographers and travel vloggers from various regions embarked on an expedition to delve into the natural marvels and ethnic heritage of Nyima county, Nagchu prefecture, the Xizang autonomous region, from Thursday to Tuesday.
Hosted by China National Travel magazine and the Nyima government, this five-day initiative aimed to showcase the unspoiled allure of the county to both professional photographers and tourists.

Commencing their journey from Lhasa, the capital of the autonomous region, the participants undertook a 700-kilometer drive on the first day to reach Nyima, situated in northern Xizang.
On Sunday morning they engaged in a tourism promotion event commemorating the inauguration of Tangra Yumco, a lake designated as a national AAAA-level tourist destination in Nyima. Adorned in exquisite ethnic attire, local Tibetans presented a captivating display of dance and song, set against the backdrop of the Dagu Snow Mountain, the emerald lake waters, and the crystal-clear blue skies.

What an interesting place!
One of the many places I never got to.
Tibet has recently suffered a devastating earthquake that killed more than 120 and displaced many, but aid and temporary housing has been provided almost immediately.
Beautiful county, people and landscape.
When I was up on the Sacred Buddhist Mount Emei in western Sichuan Province, I think I might have captured the snowcapped Himalayas with my 600mm telephoto lens.
