The Sichuan Tower in Chengdu
The Sichuan Tower in Chengdu
When I first came to Chengdu, the capitol of Sichuan Province in China (the Province where the great earthquake of 2008 was located, although I felt it more than 1000 km away) our friend took us up this tower. I was never very comfortable about heights and although it had some transparent floor areas on the observation deck, I was very leery of walking on them. On another level, the best buffet selection in the city is located, absolutely delicious food, and it was very very expensive. When I took my first bite of something that was harder than I thought my front cap loosened and then I couldn’t enjoy my meal at all. Although it was daytime when we went up the tower, it was quite misty, so not the optimum time to observe from a height. When we went down again, it was night.

3 . 3, I loved this sign. Number one rule – please don’t commit suicide here.
4. 4. A little misty, or is it pollution?
5. 5. A typical Chinese sunset
6. 6. From the street at night – it keeps changing colour.
