More randomly chosen photos I have taken in China over the past almost 13 years
Here is a variety of photos, some you may have seen and some I know you have not. All have been re-edited and framed for better presentation. Hope you enjoy my photos taken throughout this exotic and colourful country. It is your exclusive privilege to see them as this is not promoted to the front page, and this is now a private group. Not all of you are still around, but hopefully at least a few of you will enjoy what you see.
1. The Great Wall, photo taken December 2006
2. Chengdu, a misty city, from the TV and Radio tower observation deck, 2016
3. Enjoying a sunny day in a park in Zhengzhou, around 2012
4. Roses grow around the world
5. Choosing corn on the cob - a street market in old Chongqing, around 2014
6. An edited photo of my stepdaughter's guitar
7. A vintage painting from a 1000 year old Buddhist Temple.
8. The "Iron" pagoda in Kaifeng. It is called iron because of the rusty colour of the ceramic facing.
9. Ciciquo, an ancient village in Chongqing, now a tourist attraction. 2009
10. I don't recall where I took this photo, but it is an example of how so many old and ancient buildings in China are decorated.
11. Mounting the steps to the Palace in Millennium Park in Kaifeng, to play a part in a display.
12. Placing your hand on this ancient tripod is supposed to bring good luck - so my wife did it on our tour of the Peony Festival in Luoyang, I think around 2010.
