And what about ending racism in the country would you like us to fake now—colorblindness?  Race-neutrality? Tell me why if you can. Because looking at Texas in the news, I see a great big 'way-back' machine gearing itself up! Won't be long before 1776 is new again there!

Tell you why what?

In 2010, the Black population in Texas was 2.886M, in 2020 it was 3.444M, an increase of over half a million or 11.82%.

You must be a lot smarter than those Black people or do you think that they are just Uncle Toms and Aunt Jemimas?

Furthermore, don't try to take credit for population 'shifts,' because one has to wonder since there is 'talk' of Texas secession (Karen songs) again if they can't wholly run themselves while in the union—how many blacks and whites, for that matter, will leave the United States for Texas alone?  We might find out-or not!

You're colorblind in Texas, right? Race-neutral, eh? Well, what about this headline:

Statement by President Joe   Biden on Texas Senate Bill   7

May 29, 2021 Statements and Releases
Today, Texas legislators put forth a bill that joins Georgia and Florida in advancing a state law that attacks the sacred right to vote. It’s part of an assault on democracy that we’ve seen far too often this year—and often disproportionately targeting Black and Brown Americans.

It’s wrong and un-American. In the 21 st  century, we should be making it easier, not harder, for every eligible voter to vote.

I call again on Congress to pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. And I continue to call on all Americans, of every party and persuasion, to stand up for our democracy and protect the right to vote and the integrity of our elections.

Race-neutral, colorblind, Texas is trying to disenfranchise its voters, WHY IS TEXAS ATTEMPTING TO 'EAT' ITS OWN?

Resolutions   1580

1. 2020 Election : We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that 1581
various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in 1582
multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020.We believe that 1583
substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states in 1584
favor of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr . 1585

We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election , and we hold that acting President Joseph 1586
Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States. We strongly urge all 1587
Republicans to work to ensure election i ntegrity and to show up to vote in November of 2022, bring your 1588
friends and family, volunteer for your local Republicans, and overwhelm any possible fraud.

Oh no! The GOP-Texas (styled) has declared our current president as "acting" legit. That's a form of disenfranchisement. What does it bode for Texas and 'us'?

Say it isn't so, Texan! Say Texas GOP is not 'bunkersville-baby!'

Please learn the difference between laws and what some political party says that carries no force of law.

No one in Texas is disenfranchised, that is just a liberal lie pushed hard by the likes of Joe Biden, Stacy Abrams, etc., etc.

I dared you to list something that disenfranchises Texas voters.

Now I challenge you to do it.

Instead of merely repeating what others have told you, read the damn law and then you can discuss what in it disenfranchises voters.

Whereas those under 21 are most likely to be victims of violent crime and thus most likely to need to 1592

Whereas “red flag laws” violate one’s right to due process and are a pre-crime punishment of people not 1594

Whereas waiting periods on gun purchases harm those who need to acquire the means of self defense in 1596

Disenfranchisement is a removal of privileges and/or rights. I never told you that I was just dealing with the voting laws or laws alone, you tried steering me into your 'lane' and I have not been (nor do I plan) driving in it. You're not the boss of me-I thought you knew already. Moreover, the Texas GOP is 'Trump/Abbott' or vice-versa country. Don't even waste my or anybody's time trying to deny that whatever is in the platform has not passed or will be slated for passage and signature in the 'great' state of Texas!

So let me get my little cards out. . . oh, okay- here's another. And it does (good for your 'concern') have to do with voting. That is, making conservatives feel they are in a safe space when they vote the 'conservative way' :

2. Voter Registration: We support restoring integrity to the voter registration rolls and reducing voter  1381
fraud by : 1382
a. repealing all motor voter laws.
1383
b. requiring voters to re - register, if they have not voted in a five - year period.
1384
c. requiring photo ID of all registrants.
1385
d. requiring proof of residency and citizenship along with the voter registration application.
1386
e. retaining the 30 - day registration deadline.
1387
f. r equiring that a list of certified deaths be provided to the Secretary of State in order for the
1388
names of deceased voters be removed from the list of registered voters. periodic checks on

1390
g. giving the Secretary of State enforcement authority to ensure county registrar compliance
1391

1392
h. revising Title 19 funding to avoid incentivizing retention of ineligible voters.

Speaking of listening......I have stated my views on abortion many times here.

I think a woman should be able to have as many abortions as she wants and can afford.

I ALSO think abortion is a piss poor solution in this day and age and the myriad ways to prevent pregnancies.

I also think parents of minors should be notified. Or, failing that, lower the age of consent to whatever age you deem appropriate for a minor to get something as serious as an abortion with all its ramifications without notifying the parents.

Now, do you understand that you simply have no idea what I support and stop telling me so?

I am still waiting for you to read an actual Texas law that supports your ridiculous claim that the law disenfranchises voters.

You keep parroting that line, but somehow, each and EVERY time you are asked to document it, you deflect to something--anything--else.

Why can't you defend your spurious claims here and now?

Stop playing the liberal victim card--liberals can easily vote in Texas despite the lies you have willingly swallowed pushed by a complicit media and your heroes Biden and Abrams.

What is sad is a state that promises liberty, freedom, and success while it compels girls and women, and by extrapolation their boys and husbands to move away from a state that now insist they live up to a conservative standard and nothing else. And homosexuals won't be happily married in Texas (oh, the foreshadowing) so they better get their behinds in drive to move away (why the "h" wait to be told to piss off), because conservatives don't value them as people.

Texan you talk a lot of bull crap and it's evidenced by your look over here and not over there where "patty" is continuing or setting up to begin.

Let me be clear. There are liberals in Texas, who will either hold the line against conservative utter take over and oppression or they will have to leave an area of the country where the good they bring is considered of little worth or even taboo.

But, that is why Abbott is locking down the state ASAP.  You can write like somebody who does not have a clue, but you have one or two clues up your sleeve alright!  And that 'head-trip' thing you think you are advancing. . . yes, I see it and raise you: I think it's pathetic that a state as big as Texas is so ass-backwards that it wants to be a place for 'blacks and grays' and not for the colors of a rainbow. Hispanic Texans may hold the key to their future.  There is growing evidence  that Texas Hispanics are less satisfied with liberals. The 2016 and 2020 election results in South Texas showed a significant rightward shift in historically deep blue counties along the border. And the 2022 primary elections featured a record number of Hispanic Republican candidates, as well as record Hispanic Republican turnout.

A recent survey found 87% of Hispanics were proud to be Texans..

Texas Hispanics to care more about the issues of border security, immigration reform, education, jobs and the economy, and health care. On state issues, 87% of Texas Hispanics said that property tax was a major burden to them and their families. This was the majority sentiment across the board with 80% conservatives, 71% moderates and even 61% liberals.

78% of Texan Hispanics support school choice.  Fully 89% of Hispanics surveyed agreed that parents should have access to materials taught to their children in schools.

73% of Hispanics surveyed agreed that there is a crisis at the border.

Texas Hispanics are moving away from the boilerplate positions of today’s Left.

Your own quoted source says something COMPLETELY different.

Here, I will point it out for you:

b.Require a Guilty Verdict Before Placing Individuals in theCentral Registry—currently an 1198

What you write and what you quote are often times completely unrelated to each other. I suggest taking time to read your sources and understanding what you read before embarrassing yourself with posts like this.

They aren't singling anyone out, they are ensuring there are legitimate reasons why someone would be placed in the registry---specifically, a conviction.

Of course, it has "zero effect on you!" (mockingly) Are you homosexual, Texan? I would guess not.  The question:

In World War II, German leadership hated homosexuals. Texan, why does your affiliated Texas GOPers hate homosexuals and want them to go back to living in sin? Please share.

Presupposes Texas GOPers want homosexuals to marry opposite sexes or go back to being stigmatized as "down-lowers" or sex with strangers because of a lack of legitimacy in intimacy.

Do you care to explain why GOPers in Texas, with whom you admit to and assent to affiliate with, want to make unconstitutional same-sex marriages in Texas?

Yes or No?

If yes, will you support a change to the constitution to allow homosexuals to live normative marriages amongst spouses of their own choosing?

If no, explain why it is healthy, decent, and wholesome to stigmatize this group of citizens; and, what social construct you use to derive your understanding of what is taboo and socially unacceptable about homosexuals.

Shall I be as obtuse as you? What rights and privileges were endured in U.S. history and by whom? When something has been endured, it was suffered, accepted with great patience, and was vexxing. For example, in the video, interracial marriages (though of as "holy" unions before God) were overruled and endured nullification in Virginia.

How is that even possible if conservatives SAY their view of marriage is it a sacred space? Please explain that past denial of proper rights and privileges.

Well, interracial marriage came back to this country through a SCOTUS decision. But, it is not in the constitutionally ratified document. . . . So what does that mean to conservatives who view the constitution as sacred: There is no constitutional right to interracial marriage.

It's just a lighthearted example, though. Cheers.
