Shall I be as obtuse as you? What rights and privileges were endured in U.S. history and by whom? When something has been endured, it was suffered, accepted with great patience, and was vexxing. For example, in the video, interracial marriages (though of as "holy" unions before God) were overruled and endured nullification in Virginia.
How is that even possible if conservatives SAY their view of marriage is it a sacred space? Please explain that past denial of proper rights and privileges.
Well, interracial marriage came back to this country through a SCOTUS decision. But, it is not in the constitutionally ratified document. . . . So what does that mean to conservatives who view the constitution as sacred: There is no constitutional right to interracial marriage.

Is there something in the constitution forbidding abortion? And yet, I am pretty sure there is angst in the country over it being banned or at the least reverted back to states to pick and choose over participation. Interracial marriages can suffer the same state 'participation' fate.
Well, it was clearly meant for a younger audience than you and me. But, I coped with the soundtrack and concentrated on the meaning in the wording. Then, much was open to me. I don't believe that interracial marriage can be compared to abortion. I believe interracial marriage is accepted by the vast majority of people and the probability of that changing is quite low.
But we can choose to pass up on one thing that does not work for us and find something that does.

The point is not the acceptability to abortion (to conservatives) or acceptability of interracial marriage. The point is neither are explicitly granted in the Constitution, but are adjudicated by what some conservatives like to lambast as "unelected officials." What say you to that?
