Stillness
Stillness lies shrouded in the chaos of life, somewhere between the cry of the newborn and the wails of the dying. The stillness that I know is embedded within the noisy and tumultuous storms that rage within me, hidden away deep inside. It lies in wait for me to find it when the storms subside, like a hushed whisper calling to me. I am not ready to find it yet, although it seems so inviting, so lulling that it tempts me to escape from the torrents of my life into the depths of its tranquil embrace. No, it isn't time yet.
