I've been there as well but right after I severed my right quadriceps tendon -- I was on a walker and only got to photograph the walls above the river from the outside.
It is such a hidden place. As I recall, you must go on a guided tour. It is beautiful. The sunlight bounces around in the canyon in amazing ways. A guy can get dizzy walking through there, too.
Enjoy what nature can provide.
I've been to the canyon a couple of times, and each time it is truly overpowering in it's beauty.

Beautiful image.
Amazing!
It is the most incredible sight RW..Happy that you had a chance to see it.
Thank Mac, at least you got to see part of it in person. It truly is a wonder of the world.
Krish, to see it in person is really awe inspiring. Few things on earth can compete with it.
Definitely! I'm not sure what the yellow portion is?

Chole, it's reflections of sunlight.
The last time I was there was a number of years ago, but you did need to be on a guided tour.
Probably still requires a guide.
Here it is from the outside and on the River.

That's incredible, Kavika. It's soooo yellow. I don't think I've ever seen that hue from sunlight in a natural setting before.
Mother Nature at her finest Mac.
