In search of solitude
That life so oft eludes
The mind grows restless
Welter within it looms
Following here, straying there
Around winding paths
That lead to nowhere
But back into the snarl
Of temporal stalls
The search for solitude
Does the spirit gnaw
Endlessly in pursuit
Of what matters not
Engaged in battle
With that which everlasts.
