John is right; at this point, the car is more valuable...better keep 'it' working.
Just had to replace my fuel pump a couple of months ago. And if you don't catch it early enough you'll wind up replacing your ignition module too. A dirty fuel pump draws more voltage and will burn out the control circuit.
In John's defense, it does soundlike there's a faulty injector. It just isn't a mechanical one.
