Mid Summer??
Remembering that this is the15th day, hump day, for August my daughter took her Lab to the Bantam Lake for her daily romp in the water. What follows is a picture she took of the lake and the steam rising from it because the temperature at the time was 48 degrees. If this keeps up for her I figure the dog will be skating sometime next week. The kid has a pretty keen eye, eh?
I wanted to add a picture of their Lab named Harley as in Harley Davidson. She had a seizure a while back and they bought the life jacket so that she could still play in the water without their having to worry. She had but a single seizure but better safe than sorry and she has taken to it really well as you can see!
Thanks. Don't know if it is still the same from when we lived in the area and they stocked it but I have taken some nice Bass and Rainbows out of there.
Not too sure if you would want to mess with this water. This is a stream that runs through Dudleytown which is a supposedly haunted ruins where they run you off if you get caught there. I have been there a couple of time before they restricted the area and it is one spooky place. But what the heck it's water, right?
Looks as if I scared BadFish off with my haunted water falls at Dudleytown so I'm going to show another one of Campbell Falls just north of Norfolk, Ct. Takes some doing to get there but they are sure worth the trip!
That is just a gorgeous shot tsula. Perfection!
Perrie, I'msorry but I just came across your kind words and I thank you. For a nice contrast for all seasons which includes water for BadFish, and a bit of snow for the skiers, try this one out in the Rockies! Me? I prefer the wild flowers!
One of my favorites, Tsula. Your photography is masterful!
WAS! As a point of interest with this particular one, this was taken just off the road from Reno to Lake Tahoe. The only way I could get the perspective for this was to lay flat down on my belly and shoot at an angle almost parallel across the flowers. I felt that it came out pretty well, too. As always, I truly appreciate your kind comments!
Once again, beautiful photos tsula.
