Sunset After A Storm - Otter Tail Lake, Red River Valley, Northern Minnesota

Snapped this photo while fishing on Otter Tail Lake. A large thunder storm had just passed through the area and this was the ''aftermath''...

Mother earth gave you the moment, but you did a wonderful job of capturing that. Just beautiful!

It was only there for a minute Raven Wing. It's one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in a while.

Thanks for stopping by my friend.

Great shot Kavika!

How was the fishin'? Otter Tail has some of the best walleye, Sunnies and Pikes around.

Walleye fishing was fair..Hit and miss in august. Caught enough for dinner. Pelican was better, got some everyday. The Bass fishing for largemouth on Pelican was good. Got a couple of 5 pounders.

Time and health permitting, I hope to show up and hook up with some of you guys -- with a fly rod, some poppers, streamers and soft baits -- and go from there.

Been fishing there many times over the years Larry. Didn't go this time though.

Fished South Red Lake and it was, as usual, amazing. Of course you have to be Indian and a Red lake member to fish it.

This is my friend, Can't-Catch-Fish...He is holding a 4 1/2 pounder that I caught. I had to let him have a photo with it, cos it was getting down right embarrassing for him...LOL 6224_discussions.jpg?width=721
