Sometimes iPhone it in!
With the evolution of iPhone and similar technology, it's a lot easier to do two things at once, in my case, like fishing and photography .
There is a trade-off involved; as nice as the iPhone's photos can be, they're no match to my Nikon cameras and lenses in terms of the physical size of the images and image quality. But, I can cast trout flies, catch fish and, when certain photo ops present themselves, with one hand, I can get the shot.
Last evening, a thunderstorm came through the Pocono Mountain of Pennsylvania; my wife and I sat in our car by a lake, watched the storm come in and move through, then did some fishing. As often happens, the ionized atmosphere after an early evening, summer thunderstorm, makes for dramatic sunsets and good fishing.
As follows
Apple of my eye -- so-to-speak.
Neat little quip Mac....
But that aside, amazing photos. I saw Annie Liebowitz talk about how great a tool the Iphone takes picture.
Great photos Mac. Fishing and taking photos, what could be better.
BadFish, post them. The ones that I post are all taken with an iphone...Mac has been a great teacher and got me interested in photography. I'm learning, but heck it's really fun.
Take a look at the one I post ''Lake on Fire''.
You can do it BF.
Don't be nervous -- we're all friends here and nothing is critiqued unless it's requested.
Think of iPhone photography as a "calling."
Did I just write that?
Shame on me.
''as a calling''...LOL, you've had your coffee already I see.
