Great article Buzz. I was involved in the Civil right movement in 1968 and was aware of the ''white guy'' and what happened to him.
Also the Ira Hayes story..How sad.
The rest were really eye opening for me. Great post.
Although I recall the black-power salute from the Olympics, I was unaware of the effect it had on the white guy. The only one of the stories that I was really familiar with was the one about Ira Hayes.
