VIRAL WATCH: Mom Gives 20-Year-Old Letter to Adopted Daughter on Her Wedding Day
A Mississippi bride got an unforgettable gift on her wedding day a 20-year-old letter from her adoptive mother.Sherry Blackledge and her husband, who could not conceive children, adopted a son named Brian and a daughter named Brooke.When Brooke was just 18 months old, Blackledge wrote her a letter, which she decided she would give to Brooke on her wedding day.When the big day came more than 20 years later, Blackledge printed the letter of love on a piece of her own wedding gown and gave it to Brooke.A video posted to YouTube shows the touching moment that Brooke received the letter from her mom. It read:We just want you to know how very much love and happiness you have brought to us. You have made us a truly great family. A little precious baby girl to me and Daddy and a baby sister to Brian.Before me and Daddy were married we always said we wanted a little boy and a little girl. When we were dating, we said if we had a little girl she would be a little Brooke.
