The Top Ten Most Paused Movie Moments
At the moment I seem to be internalizing too much of the perpetual conflict of humanism versus egoism that is at the core of most discussions/threads. So I thought I'd post something lighthearted (I hope) for newstalkers to enjoy and possibly give them a moments distraction.
One that, IMO, they missed was the scene at Lester Burnham's desk in American Beauty. There hanging on the wall of his cubicle is a note card with the words "Look Closer" in large print, essentially the theme of the movie.
Any other shotsworthy of pausing?

Great article! I hadn't seen many of these movies, so it was news to me! LOL!
Usually, I pause and rewind because I missed something-- dialogue-- rarely do I pause, because when I do, everyone fusses...
Hey,that's apretty neat little article!
:~)
Yeah, what's up with that? They forgot Chuck Heston's butt from the Planet of the Apes!!! Or at least I'm still trying to.
Which one was this? And thanks!
The movie "Knowing".
Yeah, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool. Now I'll have to Imdb that movie as I never heard of it before AP's photo.
I truly enjoy Apocalypto also but have found it is a movie people either love or hate, very little middle ground.
Sometimes there are interesting articles about movies on the Classic Cinema group as well. (Just in case anyone is interested in classic movies.)
Just sayin'
No disrespect to your group, Buzz, it's just that the title of your group is "Classic Movies" which I did not feel encompassed the subject matter of this thread.
Though I have noticed that many of your posts within the group actually do fall outside the stated intent of the group.
Yeah, your thought about it is understandable. I had decided to make the meaning of Classic Cinema very broad in order not to discourage postings to the group. I really didn't want to make it so exclusive that I might have been the only person posting on it. I felt that any movie released at least 10 years prior to the posting would have been acceptable notwithstanding that may be at odds with most movie critics. As well, I was not concerned if any article was based MOSTLY on such older movies.
I happened to note that 80% of the movies referred to in this article would fall within my definition, so I apologize if I have overstepped with my comment.
