Titanic 2 Being Built by Australian Billionaire
The Australian billionaire who is in the process of building a replica of the Titanic has given an exclusive interview to the BBC.
Clive Palmer, who made his money in mining and property, is at an advanced stage of design with work on Titanic 2 due to start in China by the end of this year.
The new vessel will be 98% the same as the original, which sank 100 years ago. The only differences are safety related, and issues such as air conditioning in the cabins.
Mr Palmer gave BBC News a look at the plans and spoke about why he wants to build the giant ship.

Okay, the first Titanic went down. Then Titanic 2 in the movie "Titanic 2" went down. What are the odds on this one?
Hopefully they fix that bulkhead issue...
I remember going to see the movie because I had a bunch of friends going, and some girl down front got all pissed off when someone said something about the boat sinking... she started yelling about how people shouldnt ruin the ending to a movie when they havent seen it yet...

You have a point there, John. The people who buy tickets for the maiden voyage of Titanic 2 must want to have a experience similar to the original one, so they should have a tug drag an iceberg into the path of this new one, and sink the ship.
