Paper Reports The Pope Resigned In Blackmail & Sex Scandal Called Vatileaks
The respected Italian newspaper La Repubblica is reporting that Pope Benedict is stepping down because of a 300-page secret investigation that has turned up blackmail, gay sex, adultery and stealing at the Vatican.
Reportedly, Benedict has moved quickly to clean house before his departure. One Monsignor has been transferred to Colombia.
The alleged clerical transgressions are being referred to a "Vatileaks" and "Vatican-gate."
