Top Gun, The Making of A Cat Movie Classic Picture! VIDEO
Before I learned to cut and paste pictures, I made all of my own props for pictures... This short film is the story of what it took to make just ONE cat movie classic picture, for the movie Top Gun .
I'm the short, stubby one in the front. The Beautiful Boy is named Pharaoh, and he's my baby!

Well, it would seem that the time spent learning that photo editor was a good investment.
I know it has paid off in spades in productive output.
Pharaoh is a doll, If I tried that with any cat I have known, The movie parody would be like a Freddy Kruger installment.
Sometimes the back story is more fun. Keep up the great work as long as it is fun, I know how hard it is, or at least how hard it used to be. I have not dabbled in the multimedia since its infancy, when it took seven hours to morph one image on a 486. You've come a long way baby.

LMAO!! Dowser, I wondered how you got your big boy to obey you so well. I kept trying to think of doing that to Wally and there is no way he would, unless he thought it was some sort of game.
Those movies take a lot of work and prep! You should be very proud of yourself. The end result is great!
I cut and paste these days, and it is MUCH easier!! Boo, our other kitty, is not at ALL cooperative! I got him in a dress, once, and he didn't forgive me for days...
It requires LOTS of catnip, for sure!!!
Laughed all nite long,..just thinking of that cat telling you after he had his cat nip,..ok lets hurry up and get this over with while i still got a buzz going on,.....
I can see that, too! We have to work in short sessions... They get bored with me quickly!
Some efforts have potentially CATastrophic elements involved.
Often, results are less than PURRfect, LITTERED with pitfalls.

Hmmmm, Have you ever had to put the medicine on the back of a cats neck? I used to have to do it to three cats each month. One didn't seem to mind at all, one didn't enjoy it but tolerated it, and the third did not like it at all. (he, btw, is my avatar, C-A-T.) He was the first to get it, because if he saw you with the applicator he would disappear. After I had given him his dose he would run away in the crouch position, then stop and glare at me as if to say, "You #$@#@$#$ human."
And sometimes he would simply disappear.
I would go out on the back patio and call for him, (to the Smurf tune), "Where's That Cee Ayy Tee cat? Pretty, kitty, kitty cat. Where's that Cee Ayy Teecat? Where's that Cee Ayy Tee at?" which in all other cases worked, except when I had given him flea stuff.
Usually, he would just skulk around in one of the out buildings until he got hungry, but he has been known to take off for days, weeks,oncefor a whole month. On that occasion, he did not like the fact that when he returned, it was time to get his flea stuff again. Luckily, he decided that I wasn't such a bad human anyway, and stayed.
I like it.

Dowser that was hilarious (to me but probably not to kitty). Poor poor kitty! At the end there he looked like he just didn't have the energy to fight it anymore and he was high on catnip. Cute!!
