A New Poster Image Series ... Birds of the Northeastern U.S.
I recently established a website from which I am marketing prints (Metal, Canvas, Poster, Standard and Framed Prints and Greeting Cards). For that endeavor specifically, I've created a series of Poster Images Birds of the Northeastern U.S..
Here is one of those images.
(Note: The Website uses my full name rather than "A. Macarthur" by itself;
no matter, I am still me.)

Beautiful A. Mac!
Thanks, Larry. There are about 9 or 10 so far in the series.
Woodpeckers only migrate through here so I don't get to see them very often. He's a handsome creature. Thanks for the photo.
My pleasure, more tomorrow.
One at a time? That's like making a bag of M&M's last all week.
Cool!
I saw some of your other outdoor and wildlife posters and thought them exceptional. How about the Titmouse ? I think that would be a neat one too!
Yeah, but these are like the peanut M&Ms!
But all right, I'll put up at least two more today.
The Tufted Titmouse is in the series ... I'll post it today.
Adding Poster Print images to the article ... Blue Jay this time.
Bob,
I didn't post a link to my new site ... it is strictly commercial on my part offering prints, etc., for sale; I don't feel comfortable selling to friends. I've been discussing this with Perrie and she indicated that many visitors to NewTalkers are not members, therefore, should I post an ad and link to my website on NT, I'd be advertising to the public rather than to friends.
I'm thinking about doing that ... I'd appreciate any input on this.
I will use my years of contract-language writing, negotiating and enforcement experience to obtain the best deal.
I thank you ... you and Perrie concur and that is significant.
Well in the meantime, I'm shootin' ya pm to beg the site addy from ya A.Mac.
:~)
The Blue Jay is a great addition!
A third-bird just added.
Lovely...
:~)
!
We have many here in the winter. At least I'm thinking it's the same, I have alwaysreferredto them as Dark-eyed Juncos. They are one of those birds whosystematicsare not all worked out and sometimes spoken of in different terms.
Thanks A.Mac
A. Mac, I'm currently working on developing a website that will help people figure out how to attract birds, butterflies, and other wildlife to their yards... When the time comes, may I place a link to your website? I think that you will like the site. I'm just now trying to design it, so it will be a bit before I'll need to ask your official permission!
Thanks Dowser ... I'll be putting up an ad here on NT to my website and certainly you can link as well ... I'm flattered.
Whenever you're ready.
What a lovely collection Mac. I hope that you have much success with these lovelies!
Oh, stop Bob! You're so silly!
If you think I don't concur with you... ask Mike, Robert or Bruce how often I do with them, LOL!
That's what we indies do despite the fact that we are not suppose toexists, LOL!
It may take awhile! It took all day to change my web background to green, get up a header and a footer... SIGH! I'm slowly learning my new software.
But, I'm organized, (sort of), and so far, I've only quit and restarted about 7 times...
It want it to be something you would be proud to advertise on, for sure!
Beautiful as always Mac!
Thanks to all who have visited and commented ... more birds to fly in soon.
Neetu,
I not only find it satisfying to identify native plants, birds, insects, etc., I find I am frustrated when I come across a species I can't identify; that's why I keep all sorts of field guides.
I am always so impressed with your work Mac...absolutely beautiful! I visited your site, took a peek around and will definitely go back (and if we're both lucky I'll have some cash to spend on some new artwork!). I find that I now think of you as I watch the birds visiting our feeder (haven't figured out, yet, what is more entertaining...the bird watching or watching the cats watching the birds!). As always, thank you so much for sharing!
Most flattering to be thought of in the way you described ...
I'm adding regularly to the poster series and simultaneously digitizing images on some hundred-year old slides ... about 900-1000 of them; some of the subject matter is fascinating. I'll be posting ome of those scans here eventually.
Thanks again for the kind comment.
You are most welcome!
I wish I could get the hubby interesting in joining the online community...he has done some very nice photography from all over Michigan (and a little bit in Hawaii but we were only there two weeks!). One of my favorite pictures he's taken was of Pictured Rocks when we took the cruise on Lake Superior...gorgeous! That was on our waterfall tour...
Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
