Guess what? I got my husband a camera like mine for Christmas! It is a Nikon L810-- 26X zoom lense, HD movie capabilities, etc. I need to get him a better tripod, and our next purchase down the path is a telephoto lense that will fit on it, so he can take a movie of hitting a target at 400 yards and edit it to slow motion... So, this is phase 1 of several... He is pleased!
We went out on Sunday and set up his spotting scope, with the camera side by side-- at 250 yards, the target was as clear as a bell! Yeehaaa!
Anyway, it should be a lot of fun!
