The Fall Colors Progress Towards Peek
Over the last several weeks, I've been fortunate enough to observe and photograph the evolution of fall foliage colors in both Northeastern Pennsylvania (the Pocono Mountains) and Southeastern Pennsylvania (Philadelphia's Fairmount Park and a Nature Preserve in Montgomery County).
Here are a few of the photographs.

Very good pictures! I like the last one the best.
I actually like the first one the best. Great work as usual Mac! It amazes me how you can make a walk in the woods look so good!
Great shots A.M.!
I have taken more pictures outside than ever this year so am noticing for the first; It isn't just the color of the leaves that change. The way the light is filtered through the trees, and the reflection of the light off of the trees, is way different this time of year. At least looking through a lens it is. Now that I am practicing framing more, I should move onto focus, andaperture, and timing...and all that stuff.
Backlighting of translucent objects in nature, like leaves, is, to me, every bit as spiritual as looking through stained glass.
