I find the state of the intelligence of our people to be just terrible sad. We are supposed to have the greatest educational system in the world and it wasn't 2 weeks ago when I had to help a clerk make change for me. The machine told her what to give to me and she still stood there trying to figure out how to make .74 in change. Without really thinking I said; a .50 piece, 2 dimes, and 4 pennies. She looked at me and asked; what's a .50 cent piece? This kid has never seen a .50 cent piece, so I said; 2 quarters, 2 dimes, and 4 pennies and we were off to the races. Pitiful!
