Replica of Woodie
Some time ago I did an article in the old KK about Woodies and submitted an exact replica of one that I owned at the time. (Photographer unknown) I have been attempting to transfer those old postings, and their beauties, here without success. I decided, as an experiment, to take a saved picture and see if that would publish, so you folks are the beneficiaries of this experiment on my part. Please let me know if you like it and if you would like to see more. Thanks in advance for your thought. If this is not appropriate feel free to tell me that also!
Far out. I love those cars.
At one point in time, auto bodies were distinctive works of art.
TTGA ,in order that proper credit be given here, I would not have even thought about doing this until our conversation. For that I thank you!!
Did I read somewhere that there is now a spell check? How the heck does old stupid find it, if there is??
A. Macarthur , because of the great respect I have for your opinion would you consider my reposting those subjects unneeded or I should say unwarranted.
tsula,
I'm not sure I understand ... what would you be re-posting? Are you referring to Classic Auto images?

NOTE TO ALL NT MEMBERS: Just a point of information; any images or other intellectual property posted on NT (or anywhere for that matter) should be attributed to the holder of the respective copyrights -- and not in violation of any restrictions.
Further, to protect the copyrights of images you own and post, it's a good idea to indicate that by placing on or near the images(s) All Rights Reserved/your name.
By the way, all this is included in the NT CoC.
No I was referring to my original posting already published over in the Classic NV or while I was a member of KK. I always acknowledge ownership of any photo that is not mine and none of my photos have been copy written. They are simply mine and which I also identify ownership of but without the symbol. If this becomes too involved I shall simply not do it. Thanks for your input.
I have no problem with any NT member posting articles they've posted/published elsewhere. If it appeared on Newsvine KK, I think there was a "rule" that such an article not be published elsewhere on Newsvine, so, I'd check with KK to make sure they're all right with you re-posting it here.
On protecting your copyrights, your images are quite good and could be a temptation for "pirating." While indicating is no guarantee against copyright infringement, it will serve notice and deter some from using your work or misrepresenting it as their own.
Thanks for the advice. I would have thought that there would be a procedure involved before putting the symbol on to any work. Just goes to show how much I know. Again my thanks to you and I shall have to think about this now.
AH, yes the infamous Woodie. Thanks for sharing this one too. They were great automobiles for their time. Crafting one of those bodies was indeed a work of art and keeping them in shape was full time too!
That's not a problem Mac. The original KK on Newsvine no longer exists. All articles posted there reverted to the author's column in "unpublished" status and they can post them anywhere they wish (you might want to check your unpublished articles section on your column over there, you probably have some good stuff there). That rule only applied to posting the same article on NV anyway. It never applied to posting the article on another site entirely.
Very nice Mike. Is that one of the original Kaisers?
From what I was told, it was part of the browser. I don't know which browser you're using but check in the advanced tool part of the browser toolbar.
That was my understanding of the rule, too, TTGA! I got reminded of it a couple of times soon after I joined and accidently published to the entire Vine instead of limiting my stories to strictly KK. I was told that it was an either or situation in that if I published to the entire line then I was restricted from adding KK and vice versa.
You're right Mike. It is a nice looking woody, but I'm also never going to let you live that one down. lmao
No one would be hard-on anyone for talking about their woodie.
So stand erect and be proud!
