Pour the wine, turn off the lights, enjoy the scenery!

Beautiful Mac. i notice that you don't have too many trees with red leaves either. We've only got about two in the entire town that went red, mostly orange and yellow.

The images in the slideshow are from 2010 ... I have a lot more ... another slideshow possibly to come.

Ah yes, I missed reading the date. How are the leaves doing over there? I had a couple of nice places yesterday out south of town that had good color combinations. Naturally, I didn't have a camera with me and couldn't stop anyway. If the rain hasn't ruined them by tomorrow and if the sun is out good, I might drive out there and catch a few shots.

Very beautiful Mac! I think my favorites were the ones of the ducks in the water with the reflection of the trees on the water. Grin.gif

But Max didn't post the slideshow.

It was my behind that was behind it.

Still, I will pass on your kind words when next I see Max.

(P.S. Thank you)

Hey Mac,--

These are amazing! I can almost hear the leaves crunching under my feet. As a kid, I had miles of land like this behind my house, and this time of year I would spend my Saturdays walking through it. The air had that odd "smell" to it, a combination of crisp and damp.

Did you "tweak" these in any way, or is it just natural sunlight? Are you anywhere near the Poconos?

Hello D,I have a larger slide show coming ... Also from 2010-11. Some of the images have been edited for color, levels and composition but for the most part, minimally. I do sometime transform images to where they are a hybrid between photograph and painting or poster.Poconos! I spend much time there; I live in Philly but have a small "cabin" in the Western Poconos. I have some fall images from the Poconos this year ... And hope to get a lot more in the coming days.

Wonderful shots, Mac. Me being me, I particularly liked the split rails and their details. Great contrasts and the play of the sunshine was outstanding. What a super place just to wander.

Thank you,

I have many other slideshows ... many subjects. I have at least two other autumn slideshows (there may be some repeat images from this one. And I have one with a number of what I've taken so far this autumn.

I shoot most of my seasonal images both in the Pocono Mountains in NE Pennsylvania, and in Philly (we have a huge park system ... forests, streams ... most non-residents would not believe it). And there's a nice conservation area just across the Philadelphia County line.
