This is one of the funniest things I've ever heard! I am so not looking forward to having that conversation. Again.
I've had to do it once with my son, but luckily my step-daughter is only 6. So I hope I have awhile. lol
Thank goodness we I didn't have Wiki when my girls were growing up...
That was just too funny! I am a sex ed teacher, but I have to say, that it's a whole different thing when you are beinginterrogatedby your daughter ( in my case times 2). The good thing for me, was that my girls had a built in auto initiated gross out meter, that turned on when they heard the word penis. It never went any further than that. And any time I tried to bring it up to them, they would stick their fingers in their ears and go nananananana. Finally, at age 11, I sat them down for the period talk, and they told me, "Mom, you have been trying to have this talk with us since we were little". I corrected them. "No, When you were little you asked the questions, and I only answered. YOU stopped the discussion and I was happy to end it there. But now we have to have the this talk, since your body is about to go through some changes...." "Stop! Maddy yelled." "You don't have to go any further. We know this already!" Surprised, I asked, "How do you know this already?" Here sister Cat, picked up from there. "We learned it the normal way. On the school bus". I was relieved.
Did I mention I am a sex ed teacher?
I already knew everything too by the time my Mom got around to telling me. As a matter of fact I probably told her a thing or two.
