I seem to be in the clear with the scotch. Almost all scotch is kosher, so I was pretty sure I was in the clear. The only issue with scotch being kosher is when they use sherry casks to ferment or finish. If the sherry wasn't vegan, then it's a red light. The kosher/vegan issue is an overlap, and not coincidentally.
