Budding Out ... very nice job in filling the frame ... it makes a huge impact in macro subjects. And, you captured the rose at its peak opening ... and ... the relatively shallow depth-of-field makes the subject stand out.

Three thumbs up!

Try this ... spray the rose with water droplets then take essentially the same shot. Focus as close as you can making sure that the center of the rose and water droplets near that center are in focus.

When you sell that shot, send my 10% finder's fee to ... well, you know the address.

Hmmmm ... only have two thumbs ...
