I Love the Forests and the Back Roads through them ... Especially at Dusk after a Downpour!
Several evenings ago, around the time of dusk, and, a few hours after a heavy downpour, I practiced a ritual of mine ... seeing, smelling and feeling forest air and trying to find a few good subjects to photograph which might hopefully convey the feeling I experienced.
These images from that early evening are my latest attempt. Sorry you could not join me.
But feel the spirit ... I certainly felt it.

1) The rich textures of flora and the geology along a forest feeder stream are conveyed even without showing their colors.
2) Ferns, mosses, broadleaf forest floor plants, lichen covered pines and a rivulet ... call my name.
