One out of every two Americans being Diabetic?
My wifehas worked as a diabetes instructor and has been warning about this for years. Her dept. can barely keep up. Even though there appear to be some genetic reasons for diabetes, there is no doubt what an unhealthy diet and sedintery lifestyle contributes.
Eat fruits and veggies and walk!
I'm surprised it isnt already 50%. Everything has high fructose corn syrup and seemingly at least five other sugars, lol.
It wouldn't be so bad if there were only some othe redeeming qualities, but there is so often none. No fiber, no protein, no anti oxidants---mostly just pure crap.
yep.
I am on my 5th day of whole veggie/fruit smoothies, and I feel great. I was told by my dr. that I havedevelopedinsulinintolerance. One of the biggest causes of this is any kind of non complex carb, including sugars and bleached wheat products. I'll let you all know how it's goes.
Double yup!
Perrie, you and Peter have me convinced I need to take a closer, more serious look at this.
I'll join you over here .
