Fall Colors ... Posting PHOTOGRAPHERS GROUP Articles in The FORUM

For some reason(s), articles posted in the Photographers Group seem to be mostly overlooked (I hope, not ignored). So, until we work out that situation, I'll post my photo articles in both areas.
Even after last week's early snow storm, there are still a lot of leaves on the trees in Philly and immediate surroundings. I'll keep taking "autumn" photographs as long as there are colors and textures and compositions I consider viable (that is, aesthetic and publishable ).
Here are some of this year's fall photos; the location for each image will appear in its caption.
Sugar Maples kick butt! Against a blue sky enriched by the use of a polarizer, the spectral opposite harmony of blue and orange is evocative IMHO. (Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA)
Texture and color, form and contrast ... key elements in most nature photos ... this one is no exception. (Montgomery Cty., PA)
Even the tiny bit of fall foliage reflected in the stream above the waterfall, creates enough of a harmony with the reflected blue sky to cause the retina of the eye to intensify the scene! (Carbon Cty., PA)
Decaying leaves have character. These Yellow Poplar leaves from my backyard reveal an identity albeit fleeting ... and on worth recording for posterity. (Philadelphia, PA)
Why this stream was named "Mud Run," is beyond my understanding; is is cold and clear year 'round. (Carbon Cty., PA)
Who could resist walking into the woods when a path like this calls? Not I. (Montgomery Cty., PA)
Imagery can be like music ... the shadows that lead the viewer's eye into the scene have a rhythm that controls a kind of silent beat. (Montgomery Cty., PA)
Did mention that I find autumn leaves to possess character?

The photos as always are just beautiful. You really captured the fall in all it'sspender.
I have decided to handles the sight issue this way. Send me an internal message that you have posted an article in your group and I will make sure that I post it as an active link on the left side of the page under group articles. Check out the new feature. I hope this helps, but still feel free to post to the forum.
I believe that you have to join the group to post a comment when it is in thePhotographerGroup.
I like the waterfall, the color and it even has choppy water at the bottom and also some mist, nice.
Thanks Arch-Man,
I haven't forgotten the article on "Birds in Philly." I'm working on some newer images and some time in the near future, I'll post the article ... possibly several.
Good, looking forward to see what you come up with.
Hey AMac. Sure like those photos, every one of them. Especially like the yellow leaves against a bright blue background. Would enjoy walking along that path through the woods.Fall has finally brought some cooler weather and my doggie and I are loving it!
Sure would like to have you walk along that path with me.
More fall photos to come ... I've been waiting for more members to show up.
That would be nice, I agree. Look forward to seeing more photos.
Imagery can be like music.
So very true. I've been known to find rhythm in unexpected places.
Lovely as always.
: )
Mac,
Not to prove a point... but notice that there have been 54 views. Now take away the 11 comments and probably 3 extra by you, you get an idea of how many people have viewed them, but said nothing. It isn't always an insult. Sometimes words are not enough.
More "songs" coming soon ...
I'm tuning up my next post.
You were sooooooo right! Since the tags were entered, the hits just keep on comin'!
I owe you one.
I'm glad to help!
