While there are literally millions of colors -- hues, tints and shades -- from pure WHITE to Solid BLACK -- there are, for print purposes, 256 gradations.
Restoration and Preservation of old photographs … including creating derivatives (while saving the originals) … is something I love to do. Here's an example …
