Test Post for Tags

I'm told we are to post tags after an article has been posted. This post is to see how it's done.

Update: No place for tags on the "Add a Discussion" page, no place for tags on this "Update" page. No place for tags in the "Comment" box ..... so we have a problem.

Second Update: After updating the article, I see there is a tags box showing at the end of the discussion threads under the "Share This" banner, but no text can be entered in that box when the article is in the Posted mode, and the box does not show when the article is in the Update mode.

So yeah, there is a problem regarding tags, but how important that problem is in comparison to other issues being addressed will have to be determined by the people working out the bugs.

Personally, I would like to see what I consider to be a more important problem be looked at, which is the dates articles are posted. We need the actual date, not the current, "a week ago", "a month ago", or "two years ago" method that we have now. What good does dating articles like that do, when trying t look up an old article?

There are other things that need to be addressed, like being notified when a new member joins NewsTalkers, but I suppose we'll just have to wait before we get 'luxuries' like that. Apparently "Member Retention" has not been considered by the admin. IMO, welcoming new members so they can begin to establish relationships with some the members is very important in retaining people that have recently come aboard.

Lets see what happens with the 'Tag Line' wen I re-post this article.

"Tags" box is there, but can't enter text. (I really miss the "Options" drop down button we had for articles on the old site)
