My Sincere Apologies … Staying Near the Top of the Front Page with a Non-Acrimonious Article is Impossible for More than Two Minutes … or Less!

So, here's what I've been up to while many of you have been posting pronouncements and false premises …

Recent artwork …

Now you can go back to dissing one another.

Mac... how about a link so we can take a better look?

I thought about doing that but the link would be to my marketing site and i don't want to appear to be trying to sell.

If it's a problem, let me know and I'll take it down …

Never a problem for any long term member here. Being part of a community has it's benefits.

A Mac.... Thanks for the photos. I, for one will join you and you art on the front page whenever you are there. Realize there are people here who make a practice of 'baiting' each other just for sport, and rarely have any substance to their discussions. I will take a look at whatever you put up!

Dd, R-i-O. Kavika, NWM, jwc and Perrie,

I spent 32+ years "making the case," putting together paper trails and assuring those I represented that the least they could expect from my efforts was their "day-in-court" and a strict adherence to due process . And it didn't hurt that I liked confrontation and competition.

Whether in defense of a workin' stiff, or, playing semi-pro baseball, the constant that made both the confrontation and competition worth the effort, were … THE RULES … the rules and "third party" individuals enforcing them … be they the guys calling balls and strikes, the unemployment compensation board referees, the arbitrators and/OR those I encountered, even in adversarial positions, who respected the truth when it was absolute and clear, or the well-posited argument when the facts were in dispute!

There are several NT members with whom I can debate … actually debate … respectfully disagree … that without having to deal with one-line-quips-of-no-substance, off-handed dismissals of rebuttal information they simply don't like and/or cannot dispute with any validity.

Sorry for the lament but I needed to express it and did not wish to go to MetaLand and cast my pearls.

Having said that …

Grand Canyon … Philly Harvest Moon

A Mac

It is not technically a lament if it is simply a statement of fact

Many of us feel the same way

I completely understand your ''lament'' Mac.

Beautiful photo, love the view of looking up at the tree and moon.
