There is something about abandoned railroad tracks that seem both sad and magical. I am not sure why. But you really captured those feelings in your photo. Really lovely, Mac.

I don't see a picture like this as "sad". On the contrary, it is "resistance" and perhaps "eternity"

At the least, "growing old gracefully"...

Beautiful picture, dear A. Mac, in either view!  Loving railroads as I do, I find the tracks poignant of the days gone by...  Sometimes lonely, sometimes heaving a sigh for all the days before...  Sometimes, good job, and well done!  I wish Grandpa could see your picture!
