The rapids drop into a shallow plunge pool (opposite bank, upper left) and on occasion, there is a small, native Brookie waiting for the insect-du jour.
I have caught and released him twice.
Barbless hooks, #14 and smaller (almost any) flies.
A Brook Trout will take any fly you present … provided you don't get close enough to present it!
