You may think so Dowser, but many other forums do not mix news and fluff the way this one does, so they can be more intense.
I will say I have never seen any other forum where people dispute what does or doesn't belong on the "front page".
The only complaints I ever see about what is on the front page comes from you, dear friend... I put this under Mental Health and Awareness, a TOPIC.
