Due to the way Pres. Obama has mostly kept his cool, (despite all the opposition Party's shenanigans), I'll bet some historian down the line will compare him to Jackie Robinson. Not just because he was the first black President but because of the calm image they both had to present to the world in the face of all the shit that was thrown their way.
We are going to have to disagree to disagree my friend.
I don't and wouldn't tout that list as a list of " great accomplishments" basically minor stuff and some stuff that he had no hand in at all.
And this has been hashed over and over again.
There is no one from my side of the pond that will say he has done anything and what he did do was a massive failure. (ACA)
On your side of the pond, he's the greatest president since Lincoln. (and some of you judge him better than Lincoln) With a list of accomplishments ten miles long.
And the two sides will never meet over this one.
The next president, no matter who it is, will suffer from the same political judgments as will the next, and the next and so on and so forth.
The politicization of the government is the issue, it no longer responds to anything.
And that is what is bad about our government today.

Gone'a miss this Pres. when he's gone.
"No Donald, Orange is NOT the new Black". (ha!)

We are all worse off for it.
