Save your sorrow for after Trump gets elected (god forbid).

So you are saying that what is happening now is the norm?

It is not the norm, but neither are we in a state that requires the statue of liberty to weep.

Social media allows , if not encourages, deranged people to act out. The killer in today's incident has You Tube videos where he glorifies himself as a black revolutionary. He claims that TPTB are afraid of him. There have been black separatists going back to the 60's. This is only new in the context of present turmoil. Media makes this "war" seem more real than it is.

It's not that bad. We've been through far worse in the past and things will get better when Obama is gone.   We've been successful at blocking most of his freedom stripping socialist agenda and when he's gone we can work at getting rid his debt, Obamacare and fixing his foreign policy blunders. People are waking up to see the failure of the establishment and there will be some bumps in the road as we fight to regain our freedom and kick socialism to the curb. I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. Avoid areas of high concentrations of liberals like Detroit, Chicago, Philly and Cali and there is still a lot to love about the center of the country and the south.

The trouble with your analysis is that I suspect you represent a very tiny minority of people.

Dean,

Just for your information if it weren’t for “Obama Care” I wouldn’t be able to afford health insurance.

I have a basic ppo with Anthem that costs me $111.00 per month.  Without the subsidy my plan

would cost almost $600.00 per month.

I’ve worked all my life and have had my own small business for 20 years.  But I still couldn’t afford a

$600 per month premium.. My plan is in place only for a catastrophic health problem. My deductable

is $6000 so I’m not exactly running to the doctor for every little thing.

Try to consider other sides of the story.

Fyi, a $6000 deductible is not catostrophic, it's the norm now.

You're probably right but it's still a huge obstacle financially. At least for me.

Sadly, I do believe you may be correct.   It isn't just this looney race for Prez either.   We've lost our designation as a democratic republic.  Who knows what our new title is, corporate plutocracy? Oligarchy?  Idiocracy? That should be the debate going on amidst citizens. No one seems to care. We are moving toward becoming a police state.  Our major export is war and death.  We acquiesce the loss of basic rights in either fear or apathy.   I could rant away, but you catch the drift.  Not that there is no hope left.  Far from it.  I just get the feeling it is going to get worse before it gets better.
