Climbing that bad boy could be a tough job. Mac, check out the formation at the base of the cliff at the left. Is the butte making the hand gesture that I think it is?
It's actually a sunrise Brother. The clouds are backlit by the sun giving them that awesome color, the face of the mountain is in alpenglow and as you look down the face. About halfway down, you can see the shadow of the mountains on the east side of Owen Valley. The valley floor, Alabama Hills, is of course just beginning to get enough light to discern color....
I couldn't believe the brilliance of the colors as I was watching it unfold. Gods paintbrush.....
Deep subject … tall tale.
Really majestic Mac! I love the way light hits the rocks.
Beautiful Mac.

Yeah, TTGA … it looks like it's flippin' us the bird.
I note the rock climbers on my trip were quite unfriendly; any time I waved, they never waved back.
Great photo Mac.
Beautiful picture, A Mac! Thanks for sharing it with us!
WOW! (That's all I could think of......)
Good morning …
I took 1003 photos during my time away … just 998 more and you'll have a fair idea of what I saw.
Just kidding … I'll probably delete some …
Duplicates … you know … sometimes I'll shoot the same picture twice to make sure I've got it.*

Beautiful sunset, NWM.
Hopefully you will post the shots from your Mountain Climb Adventure as a stand-alone photo essay along with text captions and/or word essay.
