The Nation of Image...

Well I haven't been able to get around that much lately the Knee isn't healing the way they say it should so I've been playing around with software the last few days I haven't messed with in some 8 years....

Blender....

This is my first results....

Tell me what you think! Hopefully, it's good enough so someone recognizes it....

Bring them on … experiment … I do all the time …

Select the snow cover on the peak and bump up the brightness … add a slight tint of yellow, just barely enough to reflect the sunlight/highlight on the cloud.

Set off your work with a border … white or black … quarter or eight of an inch will do it … easiest way is to "increase canvas size" in the software.

Thank you Brother, what I probably need to do is add a lamp to the scene and focus it's light on the top of the mountain.

The image painted on the mesh doesn't allow for individual pixel or color brightening....

I could try a different color space in gimp and re-paint it and see what happens....

The easiest way is probably the lamp up there where the sun is in the background, let it play over the mesh and cast highlights and shadows where the the sun normally would......

Add a little ambient occlusion also...

Excellent Ideas!

Thanks...

Ps was thinking of doing a flyaround and posting that....

This is the Mesh in blender.....

It's beautiful!

I don't know which mountain it is, though...  Sorry, I'm not well-traveled enough!

Thank you Sweets, It's Mt Rainier, from west, northwest, about 15 miles out. Since I can look out the window and see it it seemed like a good one to start out with...

I keep looking at it expecting the stars to start flowing in from the left and making the circle over it. You know the old Paramount Pictures film opening.......

I was thinking it that it reminded me of a movie opening...  So that's Mt. Ranier!  Wonderful!
