Fire Lake.

I can imagine Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band playing on the shore line. Just too cool.

Sorry Mac, could resist. I'm in a particular reverie.

No problem … if the picture evokes a song, another picture, a poem …

… it's all good.

Please, periodically check the articles in the PHOTOGRAPHY & ART FORUM …

Take a break from the politics.

Me too … along with you.

Bring a fly rod; there are trout in that lake.

Could I just run around on the shore, picking up rocks?  winking

Yeah; but don't toss them in the water … it'll scare the fish.

Daddy taught me well, about scaring the fish...  Always approach the lake up wind, so the fish don't smell you...  Don't stand near the water, so the fish can't see you...  Never rattle anything, use bushes as camouflage, etc.  winking

He always caught fish, so perhaps he was right.  But, then, there were Grandma and Grandpa that had an old aluminum row boat that leaked.  We were always bailing it out with a coffee can, threw chicken bones in the water, (from our fried chicken lunch), our paper trash we took with us, but if it edible, we let the fish take it!  We made noise, chewed gum, laughed, and somehow, they always caught fish, too!

Here's a rule-of-thumb.

"A Brook Trout" will take any fly presented to it provided you don't get close enough to present it!"

Daddy would appreciate that!  He once caught a record breaking trout in Wyoming...  If I could find the picture, I'll post it!
