Winners From The Pokémon Art Academy Competition Will Be Made Into Custom Pokémon Cards
Today Nintendo revealed the six winning illustrations from the recent Pokmon Art Academy competition. The drawings, featured in the gallery below, were all created with the 3DS game Pokmon Art Academy. Of the winning six, half belong to the Dress-Up Pikachu category and half are from the Your Favorite Pokmon category.
Winners Xime, Ashley, Me!, Mireil, Gosha, and Gabi each receive 100 printed, custom Pokmon cards featuring their art. While the cards wont be sold in stores or sanctioned for legitimate play, each winner has bragging rights for a very long time.
Pokemon Art Academy released in 2014 for 3DS and is currently available both physically and via the Nintendo eShop. For a better look at Pokemon Art Academy, check out the overview video .

My grandson was just as crazy to collect these things as I was about baseball cards when I was a kid
A generational difference I guess.
