To Thumbs Down Or Not To Thumbs Down, That Is The Question
HAMLET: To thumbs down, or not to thumbs down--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of online criticism
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing our thumbs, end them. To die, to sleep--
No more--and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
That Newstalker comments are heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep--
To sleep--perchance to dream of thumbs down: ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of thumbs down, what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life without being able to use thumbs down.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th' oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely
The pangs of despised comments, the law's delay,
The insolence of liberals, and the spurns
That patient merit of th' unworthy takes,
When he himself might make his thumb poke into a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country, a world without thumbs down, from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience over the use of thumbs down does make cowards of us all

the heavyweights are weighing in
Bravo!!! The man's a poet, though he may not know it. He has no fear, to alter Shakespeare.
Hey John,
That was really creative! Bravo! Bravo!
That was really creative! Bravo! Bravo!
John copied another website . No creativity required from him .
Petey,
You obviously didn't read it.
OK , I admit my error . Now if you can comment on my borrowing of Shakespeare to try futilely to get A Mac to stop the masses of copy/paste garbage . I quoted "brevity is the soul of wit" ...
I don't tell people how to post. In fact, some of our best posters write long posts and explain their POV very well. Personal style is a hallmark of freedom.

Mac does not write those long posts himself . He copies and pastes them . And when one requests that he explain himself he merely clams up ...
There is something wrong with you Petey.
To pee or not to pee that is the question. The slings and arrows of an enlarged prostate or to wait till a sea of troubles...and by opposing our urge end them. To die, to sleep--
Buzz, Shakespeare wore tights and has been dead for centuries.
Ditto.
John--
Lovely!
