It seems , from taking in some of the social media reaction to the Trump/Billy Bush video, that a sizeable reaction from the Trump crowd is that there is nothing wrong, or out of the ordinary, with Trump's words and actions.

We don't want to be p.c., Trump tells it like it is, boys will be boys, the women want it that way, Trump is successful, BLM sucks, snowflakes are sissies, we need "strength' , fuck p.c. , blah blah blah.

This is seen as a "legitimate" p.o.v.  by many people. Is it a "majority" ?

It's absolutely normal for men to engage in locker room banter. And he wasn't bragging that he can get away with sexual assault. Sexual assault is not consensual. He was bragging that star struck tarts will "let" him do whatever he wants to them because he's a star and he's rich. Bill got a young intern to give him a blow job. Rock stars, ball players, and actors have an unlimited supply of bimbos to fill up their hotel rooms at the snap of a finger because money and power attract them like bees to honey. They get beautiful women who wouldn't give a regular working man the time of day. The women know it, the rich guys know it, and you know it.

Actually , "grabbing" another person's genitals , unless it is part of foreplay, is by definition un-consensual.

Maybe a bimbo would not object if Trump grabbed her pussy as they were standing in a hallway talking. Maybe she would like it. It still wouldn't be consensual until after the fact.

"It's absolutely normal for men to engage in locker room banter."

On what planet?  That is either completely absurd, or I have somehow magically managed to never experience guys in locker rooms rapey talking like Donald Trump.  If that's been your experience, I would suggest you find a new gym.  You can repeat your fantasy assertions all day long, and insist that Hillary is a bigger liar that the most notorious liar on earth till the cows come home, but than won't make it true.

"Rapey talk" is how a woman characterizes banter between men where they brag about sexual exploits but it doesn't have a damn thing to do with rape. If you haven't heard locker room banter, then it's either because they don't include you in it or you hang around with dorks. The locker room reference refers to any situation where men are together talking bluntly. An no, I won't be looking for another gym just because male banter would be displeasing to women. Frankly, I don't care what women think about a conversation that wasn't meant for them to hear.

Normal talking bluntly is telling your friend his girlfriend has nice tits, not telling your friend how hard you plan on fucking a woman who has expressed no interest in you, or how nice your daughter's ass is.  Trump is a scumbag piece of shit.

I wouldn't talk about my friend's girlfriend's tits unless I wanted to start a fight. We always talked about fucking women that had expressed no interest. If I hit it and want to keep doing it, then I don't want to hear anybody else talking about fucking her.

There is a wide spectrum of misogynistic words and behavior from Trump. If the only thing associated with him was this bus video, it might be reasonable to speculate as to it's meaning and impact. That is not the case though, there is an avalanche of such material.

We have to decide as a society if we are going to allow aversion to political correctness to redirect our national behavior into the barnyard or toilet.

I think Hillary should say that at the debate . . . and make clear that she thinks ordinary locker room banter between men puts them in a barnyard or a toilet.

While I don't deny that it happens, it is not "ordinary banter". When most guys get together , the first thing they talk about is sports or their jobs, or women in general. Their personal sexual conquests don't come up, and if they do, it would be for laughs, not as bragging.

What kind of assholes do you hang out with 1 of Many?

Was Monica Lewinsky a sexual assault?

Monica Lewinski was a White House intern. Before leaving for the job there she told her friends she was going to get her presidential kneepads.

Well she's quite the tart to announce to her friends that she was off to blow the president. She sounds like a perfect candidate for groping and it could still be consensual (at that time or when they first met). But one thing I learned about locker room banter is to never fully believe some guy bragging about his sexual exploits. It could all be an exaggeration to make other guys envy him . . . and Trump certainly likes to be envied.

That is not how sexual assault is defined. It has to be unwanted contact to be sexual assault and I have never seen any definition state that consent can only be given as part of foreplay. In fact, that's ridiculous. I have had women (who weren't bimbos) make it quite obvious that they aren't looking for romance. They didn't care what I grabbed and didn't try and stop me when I grabbed it (if they don't like it, you know immediately and stop). Is that true of all women? Of course not, but it's definitely true of some and I can only imagine how many more like that I'd run across if I were rich or a star. And women who think there aren't women out there that don't mind being groped don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

There is a woman who says Donald Trump put his hand up her skirt as he was showing her one of the rooms in his house. She was not a girlfriend or romantic partner of Trump. She was a business acquaintance. Should she have anticipated Trump would try to "grab her pussy" because that is what sometimes happens between men and women (according to you)?

Ludicrous.   This entire conversation being played out by Trump's defenders is becoming surreal.

I don't know whether that actually happened and neither do you. So I can't say what she should have anticipated regarding an incident that may not have happened or not happened as she said it did.

Well, we have a man who says he puts his hands into women's private parts based on who he is, and a woman who says it happened to her. Put two and two together.

He said women "let" him do it based on who he is. So maybe she did too. I wasn't there.

Personally I don't care for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.  I wish both of them could be replaced immediately, but it doesn't seem likely at the moment.  I think Trump is his own worse enemy, but can you imagine what a difference it would make if the Clinton Machine, which is much bigger than any of us realize and the media would give Trump the same treatment they give Hillary?
